John S. Holley

Graveside services for John S. Holley were Friday, July 24, 2020, at 10:00 a. m. from Henry’s Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Holley, 98, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

A native of Neshoba County, he managed A & P Grocery Store for over 25 years; and served four terms as supervisor of Neshoba County.  Mr. Holley served in the U. S. Army during WWII.   

Survivors include wife, Bobbie J. Holley; children, Merle Coats, Guy Holley, Pam Fulton; stepchildren, Barry Irons, Kay Duett, Patti Rickles; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Mr. Holley was preceded in death by parents, Rufus David and Julia Hodges Holley; first wife, Helen Edwards Holley; brothers, Harvey, Leon Percy and Bill Holley; sisters, Ruth Benson and Nellie Allen; one granddaughter.
