John Pearson

Memorial services will be held at a later date for John Pearson who passed away Tuesday December 31, 2024.

John Pearson, a lifelong resident of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away after a full and rewarding life. Born and raised in Laurel, John dedicated 30 years of his life working for the County of Newton. John treasured his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

John is survived by his wife, Alsie Pearson; children, Tommie (Scott) Everett; and grandchildren Zack Jenkins, Trinity Everett, Trevor Jenkins, Donovan Everett, Ethan Jenkins, and Raylan Everett. He is also survived by his brother, Joe Pearson, and his sister, LaDonna Rigdon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Pearson Sr. and Josephine Cox, as well as his first wife, Barbara Pearson.
