Funeral services for Mrs. JoAnn Jackson were held at 2 PM Monday, April 28, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Gomillion and Rev. Tim Vowell officiating. Interment was in North Bend Community Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jackson, 88, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a member of North Bend Community Church, The Gideons International, American Legion Post 138 Auxiliary. Her hobbies included planting flowers, cooking and watching sports.

Preceded in death by her parents, Gussie Josey and Ouida Rose; sisters, Betty Stewart and Carolyn Swilley.

Survivors include husband, Windell Jackson; daughters, Cindy (Donnie) Long, Janet (Todd) Allen; son, Robert Jackson; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Long, Jorie (Chris) Hemphill, Zachary (McKenzie Sims) Allen, Peyton Allen, Colby Allen; 2 great-grandchildren, Lanie Hemphill, Jackson Hemphill; special companion, “Sport”; host of nieces and nephews.
