Jimmy Stovall
A graveside service for Jimmy Stovall was held Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from Clarks Chapel Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. Andrew Phillips officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stovall, 69, of DeKalb, died Monday, August 24, 2020.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Kemper County. He worked in construction for most of his life. He loved to hunt, fish, garden, and being with family. Mr. Stovall was a member of Spanish Oak Baptist Church in Kemper County.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Marsha Stovall of DeKalb; daughter, Kim Lowe of Kosciusko; son, Justin “Turk” Stovall of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Teer, Jane Stovall and Polly Smith, all of DeKalb; brother, Buck Stovall of Philadelphia.
Mr. Stovall was preceded in death by daughter, Mindy Stovall; parents, Carlton and Eloise Stovall; and brother, David Stovall.
