Jim Fulton seeks election as Philadelphia Mayor

The following is a paid political announcement. 

My name is Jim Fulton, and I’m honored to announce my candidacy as a Republican for Mayor of the great city of Philadelphia. I’m running because I believe in continuing the progress we’ve made and building a stronger, safer community for our children and grandchildren.

I’ve been married to my wife, Lee Ann Burt Fulton, for 38 years. We’re proud parents to two sons, Coker (Chelsea Wade Fulton) and Kip (Adrienne Sisson Fulton), and grandparents to two wonderful grandchildren. I graduated from Philadelphia High School, as did both of my sons, and Lee Ann served the school district for over 30 years.

I attended East Central Community College and Mississippi State University, earning credits toward a degree in Business Administration.

My public service includes three terms as Alderman for Ward 2, 12 years on the Main Street Board, four years on the CDP Board, and four years as Street Commissioner. I currently serve as Mayor Pro Tem and hold the highest certification from the Mississippi Municipal League, Professional Municipal Officer, earned through 120 hours of continuing education.

For 12 straight years, I’ve maintained 100% attendance at all regularly scheduled board meetings. That dedication reflects my commitment to our city.

Together, we’ve made real improvements to departments and infrastructure but there’s more to do. I’m ready to keep leading with transparency, accountability, and vision.

This election will shape our city’s future. Experience is the difference.
