Funeral service for Mr. Jerry Lee Cotton will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Doby Henry and Deacon Randy Jim officiating. Interment will be in Bogue Chitto Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge.

Mr. Cotton, 65, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He enjoyed fishing, spending time listening to his favorite music and spending time with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Cotton and Hazel Lewis; son, Shelby Cotton; sister, Virgie Cotton; brothers, Gary Cotton, Kenneth Cotton.

Survivors include wife, Eleanor Willis Cotton; daughter, Devonia Thomas, Jeri Lynn Charlie; sisters, Gloria Dale, Lora Tucker; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Joey Cotton, Alex Tucker, McKenley Cotton, Josh Denson, Bakari Neal, Don Frazier, Justin Cotton, Craig Runnels.
