Jeris Edward Shoemake

Funeral service for Mr. Jeris Edward Shoemake were held 10 AM Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the new Covid Emergency Relief Facility at 374 Campus Drive in Conehatta, MS. Interment was in the Conehatta Community Cemetery. Visitation began at 10 AM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the new Covid Emergency Relief Facility. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Shoemake, 44, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at UAB in Birmingham, AL. He was Catholic by faith. He enjoyed coaching his children, fishing, watching his favorite teams, the New York Giants and Notre Dame.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Elwood Shoemake; brother, Jay Shoemake, Sr.

Survivors include wife, Latisha Shoemake; daughters, Hope Pesata, Gaylee Shoemake, Zaynah Shoemake; sons, Damien Tsosie, Zapherious Shoemake, Zerious Shoemake, Zayvion Shoemake, Zay’Quan Shoemake; mother, Regina Shoemake; sisters, Angela Dixon, Karidi Shoemake; brothers, Vincent Ben Smith, Vince Piti Smith, Mitch Shoemake, Jarandon Frazier; 2 grandchildren.
