Jenell Weathers Alford

Funeral service for Mrs. Jenell Weathers Alford was held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Christian Life Apostolic Church with Rev. Bennie Alford and Rev. Hank Pilgrim officiating. Interment was in North Bend Pentecostal Cemetery. Visitation was 4PM-8PM Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Service.

Mrs. Alford, 82, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at her daughter’s residence. She lived in Kemper and Neshoba Counties all of her life. She was a bookkeeper before retiring. She was a member of Christian Life Apostolic Church where she served as pianist. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing.

Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Richardson Weathers and Byrdia Moore Weathers; Great-Grandson, Current Martin Wallace; Son-in-law, Ted Ellis.

Survivors are her husband, John Alford; Daughters, Julie Stokes and Joyce Ellis; (3) Grandchildren, Chris Ellis, Timothy Stokes and Carrie Atkinson; (6) Great-Grandchildren.
