Jeffery Cotton

Funeral services for Mr. Jeffery Cotton were at 2 PM Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Bogue Chitto CERF Building with Rev. Doby Henry officiating. Interment was in the Choctaw Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation was at 10 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Bogue Chitto CERF.  John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cotton, 37, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital in Dekalb, MS. He was a member of Choctaw Christian Church. His hobbies included playing softball, washers and stickball, making stickball sticks.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tommy Cotton, Sr.; sister, Dewana Cotton; brothers, Melton Chapman, Tommy Cotton, Jr., Gary Cotton; aunts, Phyllis Chapman, Gladys Chapman.

Survivors include his mother, Serena Chapman; daughters, Kalyn Edwards, Jasmine Cotton, Jessiny Cotton; sister, Shanita Cotton; brothers, Brian Cotton, Malcolm Chapman, Jimmy Cotton, Jr., Dustin Chapman, Eric Chapman.

Pallbearers are Eric Chapman, Dustin Chapman, Jimmy Cotton, Jr., Kenyon Dixon, Danario Bell, Dominic Bell. Honorary pallbearers are Malcolm Chapman, Brian Cotton, Denzel Mingo, Harrison Johnson.
