Funeral services for Ms. Janette May Ellingburg were held at 3 PM Sunday, June 1, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment was in New Harmony Cemetery.

Visitation was 1 PM – 3 PM Sunday, June 1, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Janette May Ellingburg, 92, beloved mother of Donna May Kittrell and favorite son-in-law Larry went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in Morton, MS at MS Care Center. Janette’s passion was her family, 2 grandchildren, Wendy Kittrell Crawford and Brian Kittrell (Candice); 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews she loved as her own.

Ms. Ellingburg is preceded in death by her husbands, Elton L. May and John D. Ellingburg; parents, Albert L. and Addie Savell Bland; and all her siblings.
