James Herbert White

Funeral services for Mr. James Herbert White will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Wade Chapell and Dr. Bobby Myers officiating. Interment will be in Old Pearl Valley Cemetery.

Mr. White, 82, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. He lived most of his life in Neshoba County and was a member of Old Pearl Valley Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked predominantly in shearing and burning and in material handling later in his career at Taylor Machine Works until his retirement.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his wife Delores Agent White; parents, George and Delia Coats White; sister, Catherine Bounds; brother, Delmus White.

Survivors include his son, Shannon White of Sylacauga, AL and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
