Mr. James D. Howard, 72, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence. He lived in Plattsburg most of his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, oilfield worker and a Mason. He was Pentecostal and enjoyed horses.

Preceded in death: Parents, Alvin Howard, Mertlean Jones Johnson and Stepfather, Jasper "Jack" Johnson; Daughter, Rosetta Howard; Granddaughter, Johanna Webster; nephew, Scooter Johnson.

Survivors: Stepdaughter, Felicia Momberger (Tom) and family of Gallatin, TN; Stepson, Wayne Gann and family of Gallatin, TN; Brother, Dwayne Howard (Arlie Faye) of Noxapater; Sisters, Jewel Clifton of Philadelphia, Diane Williams of Houston, MS; Nieces and nephews, Seleta Aldous, Denita and John Thomas, Larita and Isaac Goforth, and Tommy Dearing.
