James Andrew Fisher

James Andrew Fisher, 76, went to be with the Lord and in the Heavenly Choir on Sunday, August 30, 2020 in Nashville, TN.  The family will have a Memorial Service and receive family and friends Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hickory Ridge Baptist Church, Florence, MS.  Memorial Service will be 12 noon until 12:45 pm at Hickory Ridge Baptist Church, Florence, MS.

James was born May 7, 1944 in Philadelphia, MS to James and Eva Fae People Fish.  His love of music started at the Philadelphia High School, that led him to a lifelong musical career.  James’ musical career included writing songs, singing county music, playing the piano, organ, keyboard, guitar, banjo, and several other musical instruments. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hickory Ridge Baptist Church, Florence, MS and/or The Gideons.
