Jack Henry Davidson

Jack Henry Davidson, 89, a retired shop foreman for Central Electric Power Association, died Thursday, May 29, 2025, at his home.

Visitation was 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services were 2:00 pm at High Hill Baptist Church on June 1, 2025, with Bro. Ray Files and Bro. Don Cook officiating. Interment was in High Hill Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Davidson was a native of Leake County and a member of High Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by parents, Clyde Henry and Winnie Lois, his first wife, Margaret Ware Davidson; a grandson, Kris Davidson; Joiner Davidson; a brother, Joe Davidson; and a sister, Rachel Faulkner.

Survivors include: his wife of 32 years, Betty Davidson of Carthage; 3 sons, Don Davidson (Marcia) of Brandon, Randy Peoples of Sebastopol, and Jerry Peoples (Kathy) of Conehatta; 2 daughters, Teresa McGaugh (Dwayne) of Union and Lisa Loper (Barry) of Sebastopol; a sister, Sandra Ware (Keith) of Standing Pine; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Brian Davidson, Barry Loper, Dwayne McGaugh, Austin Peoples, Quint Gilmore, and Joiner Peoples.
