J. D. Ladd

Graveside service for Mr. J. D. Ladd was held 10 AM Monday, February 13, 2023 at Old Pearl Valley Cemetery with Rev. Jody Atkins officiating. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ladd, 59, passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his home in Mt. Gilead, OH. He spent the early part of his life in Neshoba County, but moved to Ohio in his 20’s. He was Christian by Faith, and his hobbies were hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was an extremely hard worker at everything he did, and was the most giving patient man. But above all, he loved his family more than anything.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Marion Ladd, Mildred Stuart Ladd Atkins; sister, Shelby Ladd Ganey.

Survivors: wife, Debra Ladd; daughters, Jacqueline Ladd, Taryn Keller; son, James Ladd; sister, Fay Carney; brothers, Rev. Jody Atkins, Wayne Ladd, Gene Ladd; (3) grandchildren.
