Ilene Spears

Graveside services for Ilene Spears were held Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from Old Pearl Valley Cemetery in Neshoba County with Rev. Nolan Pinter officiating.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Spears, 88, of Pelahatchie, died Friday, August, 14, 2020, at Bedford Care in Newton.

A native of Neshoba County, she was a resident of Pelahatchie for several years. 

Survivors include three grandchildren, Charlie Spears, Ann Fortenberry, Carol Fortenberry, all of Forest; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and brother, Delbert Glynn McCown of Jupiter, FL.

Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by husband, Lamar Spears; two sons, Wayne Spears and William Spears; parents; Dessie and William Edward McCown; and sister, Hilda Wyvonne Franklin.
