Hunter, Calloway play in All-Star game
Neshoba Central’s Jarquez Hunter and Philadelphia High School’s Kadarius Calloway played for Mississippi in the 34rth annual Mississippi/Alabama all-star game. Hunter was named the Most Valuable Player in Class 5A. Rocket teammate Jaharon Griffin was named first team linebacker. Jamarcus Jones of Union made first team offense on the Class 2A team. Philadelphia’s Connor Long was the first team place kicker.
