Alonso Henry is graduating with the Choctaw Central Class of 2020. Alonso is very excited. He loves to run and was a member of the cross country and track team.

Alonso has set goals for himself now that he will be graduating. His hopes are to become a better person overall after leaving high school. Alonso is also focusing his energy into becoming a better runner.

Another goal of his is to be a positive influence on the younger generation. Alonso received a cross country and track scholarship to attend Lake Superior State University in Sault Set. Marie, Michigan.




During his time out of school Alonso has spent his time fishing and learning to run at a college level. Henry's love for algebra influenced the direction of his major mechanical engineering. Alonso is looking forward to starting his education in Michigan. He also would like to recognize his favorite teacher at Choctaw Central, Mrs. Stephanie Johnson. Mrs. Johnson taught Alonso English in 9th and 11th grade. Henry is grateful for his time at Choctaw Central High School. He is the son of Anselm Keith Henry and Alonso Lana Dawn Tubby.
