Helicopters part of National Guard exercise

National Guard Apache helicopters were doing exercises over Philadelphia and Neshoba County Tuesday evening, Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark said, but there is no danger.
“It’s just an exercise. There is no danger,” Clark said at about 6 p.m.
Residents reported multiple helicopters low over town and even in the county around Stallo.
“Everything is safe,” the Sheriff said.
There was speculation on social media the helicopters were in relation to the reopening of the Ellis later this week as part of the Marty Stuart Congress of Country Music, but that could not be confirmed Tuesday night.
911 Communications received several calls, Clark said, but there is no danger to residents.
