Funeral services for Ms. Helen Virginia Long was held 2 PM Sunday, February 28, 2021 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Matt Hitt and Rev. Don Savell officiating. Interment in Henry's Chapel Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge.

Ms. Long, 92, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She lived in Neshoba and Newton Counties most of her life. She was retired from Witco Battery Plant, a member of Bunco Club and Duffee Baptist Church. Her hobbies include reading, watching the news and riding horses.

Preceded in death: Parents, Jonas Jackson Parker and Ruth Parker; Husband, Franklin Long; Sons, Rick Long, Steve Long and Clarence Long; Several brothers.

Survivors: Daughter, Laquita Long; Son, Rev. Jack Long (Charlotte); (3) Grandchildren; (5) Great-Grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Dave Miller, Clay Wall, Joe Alexander, Anthony Hasenmueller, Pete Hines and Josh Westbrook.
