Ms. Helen R. Herrington passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her home. She was born in New Jersey, and served in the Army’s military police where she met her late husband Johnny Earl Herrington. She lived in Michigan for several years before moving to Philadelphia, MS in 1994. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. She was a member of Clay Buff Art Association, Friends of The Library and Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild. Her hobbies were artwork and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Earl Herrington who passed in 2001; parents Charles Riehle and Emma Marie Riehle; an infant son.

Survivors include sons, John Wayne Herrington (Patricia) of Ohio and Kip Cooper Herrington (Laurie) of Philadelphia, MS; (3) grandchildren, Shelby, Olivia, and Samuel. They are all nurses and cared for her at her home in her last days.
