Helen Gentry Allday

Funeral service for Ms. Helen Gentry Allday was 2 PM Saturday, June 11, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Eddie Pilgrim and Rev. Kenny Gentry officiating. Interment was in the Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston Co. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Allday, 95, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Neshoba General Nursing Home. She lived in Neshoba Co. most of her life. She was a member of Remus Baptist Church in Leake Co. Her hobbies were yard work and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allday; parents, William Carrol Gentry and Georgia Vowell Gentry; brothers, Woodard, Clinton, Hap, and William (Snooks) Gentry.

Survivors include her sisters, Patricia Pounds of Clarksdale and Hilda Myers of Philadelphia; brothers, Bobby and John Gentry both of Zama; a host of nieces and nephews.
