Private Family service for Hattie Ann Winstead was held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Lin Chesney officiating. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery in Union, MS. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Winstead, 79, of Union, died Thursday, February 3, 2022.

She was a native of House Community of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of Union, MS. She was a retired manager at the Louise Mandrell Theater Gift Shop in Pigeon Forge, TN.  Mrs. Winstead attended County Line Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Perry Winstead  of  Southhaven, MS and Terrell Winstead (Sandra) of Union; grandchildren, Turner (Christa) Smith of Southhaven, MS, Jonathan (Abby) Winstead of Union; Amber (Trey) Robinson of Starkville, MS; Noah Winstead of Starkville, MS, Kirby Winstead of Memphis, TN and KateyAnn Winstead of Tampa, FL; great-grandchildren, Rome and Carlin Smith, Griffin, Bennie and Quinn Winstead, Cal and Bonnie Grace Robinson; brother, V.L. Mott (Kate) of Little Rock, MS

Mrs. Winstead was preceded in death by parents, Louis and Gladys Mott; daughter, Barbara Ann Winstead.

Pallbearers, Turner Smith, Vernon Mott, Jonathan Winstead, Trey Robinson, Noah Winstead and Christian Savell.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to County Line Baptist Children’s Ministries or Compel Kids at Compel Church or a charity of your choice.
