Harriet Smith

Funeral service for Ms. Harriet Smith will be 1 PM Thursday, June 16, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Father Augustine Palimattam officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Ms. Smith, 83, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at her home in Neshoba Co. where she lived most of her life. She was a cattle farmer, and she was Catholic by faith. Her hobby was working. She also drove a school bus for Neshoba Central for many years.

Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Turner Smith; parents, Sol Parker and Rachel McArthur Parker; son, Joe Smith (May 23, 2022); sisters, Lyle Moore and Pat Wilson; brothers, Thad Parker and George Parker.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Smith and son-in-law, Steve Sanchez of VA.
