Harpole was a beloved art teacher
Funeral services for Frankie P. Harpole will be held from McClain-Hays Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025, with the Rev David Storment officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 9:30 am until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Harpole was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She saw beauty in everyone and everything around her. Having taught third grade for over 30 years, she inspired many children to reach their full potential. As an accomplished artist, she was still painting stunning landscapes the last week of her life.
Mrs. Harpole passed away on March 8, 2025, after a sudden illness. Surviving members of her family are her daughters; Lorraine Blount (David) and Jessica Bailey (Ty); grandsons, Clay Blount, Andrew Bailey (Jessica), and Simon Bailey (Ashley); six great-grandchildren, and a sister; Tommie Banks.
Pallbearers were Eric Prince, Jim Prince, Mark Duncan, Craig Brown, Dan Cumberland, Ray Brown, Rex Webb, and Lee Mims.
