Harold “Doc” Royce Comby
Funeral service for Mr. Harold “Doc” Royce Comby will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Pearl River Gym with Rev. Daniel Tubby officiating. Interment will be in Greenhill Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Pearl River Gym. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge.
Mr. Comby, 66, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. He served as Captain and Coroner/Liaison Officer for Choctaw Police. He enjoyed making stickball sticks, emcee speaking at various events.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jones Comby and Rosia Isaac; brothers, Willie Comby, Dean Bowen Comby.
Survivors include companion, Peggy Thompson; daughters, Misty Comby Findell, Nikki Shaun Comby, Natasha Renee Comby, Jasmine Rose Comby; sisters, Susie Alex, Mary Helen Umholtz, Delores Marie Hodridge, Annette Kizer; brothers, Jimmy Isaac, Sr., Leonard Jones Comby, David Dale Comby; 1 grandchild.
Pallbearers are Ryan York, Gabriel Billie, Chris Evans, Benjamin Farve, Robert York, Stanley Johnson, Jr., Nick Monk, Nicky Charlie.11
