Harkins, Prince earn All-State honors for MAIS basketball

Two members of the Leake Academy girls basketball team have been named to the Mississippi Independent Schools Association's All-State team.

Emmi Harkins and Miriam Prince both earned All-State honors. The Lady Rebels finished the season 32-3.



Harkins, a junior, started at forward and played in all 35 games. She scored 381 points and averaged around 11 points per game. She averaged 3.5 assists per game. She is the daughter of Derek amd Mariann Harkins.

Prince, a freshman, played point guard. She played in 31 games. She scored 472 points and averaged 15.2 points per game. She averaged 2.8 assists per game. She is the daughter of Philip and Valeria Prince.
