Guy Gray

Funeral services for Guy Gray were held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Michael Wells and Rev. Nels Norris officiating. Burial followed in Sandtown Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gray, 89, of Philadelphia died July 29, 2024.

Guy was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and a graduate from East Neshoba High School and also served in the U.S. Army. He was a licensed pilot and a flight instructor and later worked for Gray Brothers Trucking. Mr. Gray was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Kent Gray (Vicky); granddaughter, Kristen Madison (T.J.); two great-grandchildren; brother, Luke Gray (Hazel); a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gray was preceded in death wife Margaret Gray; great-grandchild, Riley Madison; parents, Earl and Bessie Gray; brothers, Bennie, James, Junior, Sterling and Clifford Gray; sister, Ellen Hall.
