Geraldine Ward “Jeri” Phillips

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from New Harmony Cemetery with Bro. Curt Pace officiating.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Geraldine Ward “Jeri” Phillips, 90, of Madison, died Saturday, February 4, 2023.

She was a native of Neshoba County.  She retired from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  Mrs. Phillips was a member of First Baptist Church in Madison. 

Survivors include daughters, Paula Ballard of Ocean Springs, Carla Harris and Vicki Minninger, both of Madison; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband Arthur “Smoky” Phillips; parents, Clifton and Lessie Ward; brother, Donell Ward; great-grandchild, Leland David “Trey” Harris III.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the University of Medical Center, Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in memory of great-grandchild Leland David “Trey” Harris III.
