Funeral services for Mr. Georgie Lee Stephens Sr. were held at 2 pm Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation was at 12 pm till time for service Tuesday, February 11th at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Stephens, 84, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at his residence in Noxapater, MS. He lived most of his life in Kemper County in the Zion Community. He was a carpenter and enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Stephens; Parents, Bessie Layne and William Calloway Stephens;(2) Sons, Jonathon Stephens and George Lee Stephens Jr. (3) Sisters, (2) Brothers.

Survivors: Daughter, Tammy Stephens of Noxapater; Sons, Grady Stephens (Traci) of AZ and John Branning Stephens (Gwen) of Collinsville; Sister, Pauline Turbville of Bailey; (4) Grandchildren; (9) Great-Grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.
