Convenience store argument escalates into shots fired

Police are investigating an altercation at a Beacon Street convenience store that escalated into gunfire on the evening of Nov. 16.
Ireland J. Moore, 19, of 412 Barham Street, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault-use of a deadly weapon.
Police Detective Bobby Pattillo said that Moore was taken into custody shortly after the 7:30 p.m. incident. Jail records show that she bonded out the following evening on a $5,000 bond.
He said the incident occurred on Monday, Nov. 16 when they received a report of an altercation at the BP on West Beacon Street that “escalated into gunfire.” A short time later Moore was arrested.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
