Fulton will seek re-election in Ward 2

Ward 2 Alderman Jim Fulton will seek re-election, he announced on Monday.

“I am announcing that I have filed qualifying papers as a candidate for re-election in the upcoming Republican primary,” he said in a release.

“It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Philadelphia and particular the residents of Ward 2 as your alderman for two terms,” he said.

“After much deliberation and prayerful consideration, I have qualified for re-election. It is my desire to continue working to make Ward 2 and the City of Philadelphia a better place to live, work, worship, and raise our families.

Fulton said he plans to release a more formal announcement in the weeks leading up to the primary.
