Fair permits required Thursday evening

Due to anticipated traffic congestion in the Neshoba County Fairgrounds from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, a valid, properly-placed parking permit will be required to enter, it was announced by the Fair Board.

During this time, only Gates 1, 2 and 4 will be open. Automobiles without a valid permit will be asked to park in the outside lots, and parkers will be on duty for assistance.

Temporary parking permits will not be available on July 22, but will be available from Friday morning, July 23, until the end of the Fair, the Board said.
