Evelyn Calloway

Funeral service for Mrs. Evelyn Calloway will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. from Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, with Pastor Eddie Hinton officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Beck Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Calloway, 83, of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. 

She is survived by her husband, Everett Calloway of Philadelphia, MS, five children, LaTonya D. Calloway, Josman D. Thompson, Everetta T. Johnson, Detraka L. Calloway Williams, and Everett D. Calloway, Jr., one brother, LeFleur Cole of Philadelphia, MS, one sister, Verneda Cole of Memphis, TN, 14 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jerry Johnson III, DeSean Johnson, Perry Walker, Jerry Walker, Eyah Calloway, and Everett Calloway III.
