Eric Blount Jefferson

Funeral service for Mr. Eric Blount Jefferson were held at 2 PM Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Redwater Gym with Rev. Robert Patrick officiating. Interment was in John Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was at 10 AM Friday, January 3, 2025 at his home, 114 Chitto Cove in Walnut Grove, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jefferson, 50, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at his home. He was Baptist by faith. His hobbies included coaching basketball and softball for his daughters, playing baseball and basketball, fishing, reading his bible, chanting, talking to his grandkids.  He was a big fan of the Boston Celtics, New York Yankees, New Orleans Saints and MSU.

Mr. Jefferson is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Lee Jefferson and Joanne Willis Jefferson; sister, Eelorna Jefferson; grandparents Joseph Jody Willis, Doreen Willis, Irvin Jefferson, Elizabeth Jefferson.

Survivors include wife, Shauna Jefferson; daughters, Shari Jefferson, Lawendessa Jefferson, Sharissa Jefferson Strickland, Erissa Jefferson; sisters, Alyssa Jefferson, Ylandra Hickman; 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Terry Willis, Josh Bell, Jerry Mingo, Justin Strickland, Douglas Hickman, Robert Thompson, Milton York, Ian York, Cody York.

Honorary pallbearers are Martin Willis, Jr., Josh Willis, Dijon Hickman, Gayland Williams.
