A log truck overturned in the middle of the Beacon Street near Old Mexico early Monday morning rerouting traffic for almost seven hours.

Detective Bobby Pattillo was not on the scene but said that it stemmed from faulty equipment.

"It stemmed from equipment failure on the truck from what I was told," Pattillo said.

There have been no injuries reported though a utility pole was damaged.

Pattillo said the incident was reported to Philadelphia PD around 5:51 a.m. He said the last officer left the scene at 12:41 p.m.

During the clearing of the scene, traffic was rerouted through the Old Mexico parking lot.
