Electronics stolen in burglaries

Police are investigating a pair of residential burglaries reported Friday in which appliances were taken.

Philadelphia Police Detective Bobby Pattillo said that a complainant reported a burglary at a residence on Atkins Street where a television set and microwave were taken on Sept. 18. Another burglary was reported the same day about five minutes away by a complainant at an apartment on Woodland Hills Drive where two television sets were taken.

“All cases are currently under investigation,” Pattillo said. 

He said Monday that police do not believe the two incidents are related.
