Recently, he attended a NFL Showcase in Texas. He joined other NFL hopefuls who ran through some drills and went through interviews with different NFL teams.

“We didn’t do any contact drills,” Eiland said. “I talked the Vikings, the Dolphins, the 49ers, the Jets, the Eagles, Bills, the Packers, Dallas, Arizona and the Saints.

“They were saying they definitely had eyes on me. They are trying to see how things play out and how my training was going.”

Eiland has an agent Sonny Shah who is located in New Jersey. He is not playing in an all-star game but will be in New Jersey for training. He will be staying in shape and waiting for someone to call.

“They were telling me I am going to be on a team,” Eiland said.

Eiland has prepared himself for the future. He said before his graduation, he interviewed with a couple of companies and will have a future after football.
