Edna Deann Sockey

Funeral service for Ms. Edna Deann Sockey were held 10 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Standing Pine Gym with Rev. Timothy Tubby officiating. Interment will be in the Standing Pine Community Cemetery. Visitation was at 10 AM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Standing Pine Gym. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Sockey, 36, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, at her home. Her interest included car maintenance, carpentry and spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Houston Lewis, Edna Sam Lewis, Mike Sockey, Valarie Sockey.

Survivors include parents, Waudine Sockey and Clyde Sockey, Sr.; daughters, Jaleann Jalisa Sockey, Malena Lynn Mitch; son, Simuel Blane Sockey; sisters, Michelle Dixon, Shelia Willis, Kimberly Lewis; brothers, Peter Sockey, Christopher Sockey, Cameron Sockey, Kyle Sockey.

Pallbearers are Denzel Stoliby, Dudley Denson, Jr., James Willis, Jr., Warren Dixon, Benjamin Lewis, Billy Sockey, Jr., Jamieson Wilson, Marcus Sockey, Duran Morris, Billy Jack Lewis.
