EDITORIALS/Trump for President
Three Supreme Court appointees — possibly two more originalists in a second term — are reason alone to re-elect Donald J. Trump President of the United States.
Trump’s surprise election four years ago exposed the massive “Deep State” and the corruption in both political parties.
Clinton-style neoliberalism and Bush-style neoconservatism converged around an insider, backroom, corporatist consensus — particularly on issues of trade, immigration, jobs, and foreign interventions — that Trump blew up.
The livelihoods and cultural values of the American middle class were being decimated by globalist policies until Trump came to the rescue.
As patriotic nationalism fell out of fashion with the elites on both sides during the excruciating Obama years, competing progressive visions were adopted — even pushed — by so-called “woke” corporations and others.
Trump’s appointment of Mike Hurst as U.S. Attorney in Mississippi and Cory Wilson to the U.S. Fifth Circuit are two major game-changers alone here at home.
This election is a simple question of which direction you want the country to go, a surge to the Left and chaos or to the constitutional, liberty-loving right.
Trump has forcibly confronted the leftwing mob and, much like Reagan, has reshaped the GOP and the nation itself — if not the world as a great peacemaker, particularly in Israel and the Middle East.
His populist conservatism is redefining Republican politics. The GOP has a real opportunity to broaden its reach to blacks, Latinos and others. The middle class finally has a true home and all are welcome.
Trump will protect the interests and values of hard-working people who make the country run while defending timeless God-fearing ideals and beliefs that make America exceptional.
Trump is challenging the notion of the managed decline of an aging nation. He has demonstrated that economic prosperity can be brought back to our shores — prosperity that can support families and futures.
Trump has exposed the liberal news media as frauds and their collusion with the centers of power in government, Hollywood and the Democrat Party.
Trump turned on the lights in D.C. to expose the good, the bad and the ugly as the cockroaches scattered.
As the President himself says: “We stand on the shoulders of American heroes who crossed the oceans, blazed the trails, settled the continent, tamed the wilderness, dug out the Panama Canal, laid down the railroads, raised up the giant skyscrapers, won two World Wars, defeated fascism and communism, and made America the single greatest nation in the history of the world.
“And we are making it greater every single day. Proud citizens like you helped build this country, and together we are taking back our country. We are returning power to you, the American people.”
We desperately need Trump’s flavor of American optimism that’s reminiscent of Reagan’s. If Biden wins, professional, paid looters will be running the country and your taxes are going to go up, he said.
Re-elect Donald John Trump President of the United States for a better more safe and secure America for all.
