Funeral services for Mr. Eddie Hughes Willis were held at 2 PM Friday, May 30, 2025 at Redwater CERF Building with Rev. Carl Wilson officiating. Interment was in Redwater Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon Friday, May 30, 2025 at Redwater CERF Building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Willis, 52, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 in Carthage, MS. He was Baptist by faith. His hobbies included fishing and playing/watching softball.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Wingo and Rosie Jean Willis Wingo; sisters, Lula Mae Triplett, Evalena Wingo; brothers, David Willis, Howard Willis, Stevie Jim, Tommy Lee.

Survivors include daughter, Sabrina Evans Bean; sons, Joshua Willis and Christopher Hughes Willis; sisters, Dannie Body, Nita Willis, Irene Tubby, Pearline Willis; aunt, Ellen Busby; 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Tangle, Fredrick Willis, Jermaine Willis, Randy Tangle, D’Kenerick McBeath, Nicolas Beamon, Pierra Hopkins.
