Dwight Edwin Bane

Funeral service for Mr. Dwight Edwin Bane were held at 2 PM Friday, June 27, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. J.W. Jenkins and Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment was in Wheatfield Cemetery. Visitation was 5-8 PM Thursday, June 26, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bane, 73, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his home. He attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church in the Stephenstown Community. He was a farmer and enjoyed gardening and riding his John Deere Tractor.

Mr. Bane is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Oma Bane; sister, Catherine Lawson. Survivors include wife, Jean Bane; stepdaughter, Gwen (Jeff) Luke; stepson, Terry (Liz) Liles; sister, Maxine Jenkins.
