Dorothy Beckham Criddle

Funeral services for Ms. Dorothy Beckham Criddle were held at 3 PM Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church (Stephenstown) with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Criddle, 91, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Her hobbies were traveling, going to church, singing, and going out to eat. She was 13th of 14 children and the last to survive.

She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Criddle; parents, Gene and Sally Ladd Beckham; sons, Perry Criddle, William M. “Bill” Criddle and Ralph Jacklin; 13 siblings.

Survivors include daughter, Brenda Bergan Hinton (Johnny) of LA; sons, Mike Criddle (Bernice), Steve Criddle (Patty) both of IL; (5) grandchildren; (9) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
