Funeral service for Ms. Dessie Mae Jordan was 10 AM Monday, October 31, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Michael Wells officiating. Interment was in Union Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Jordan, 95, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at her home. She lived most of her life in Noxapater, MS where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church, and her hobbies were crocheting and needle work.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Thomas Jordan; parents, John Pink Winters and Edder Alma Scallon Winters; son, Jerry Thomas Jordan; sister, Doris Melton; brothers, Jimmy, Billy, and John Winters; great-grandson, Colton Crawley.

Survivors include daughter, Betty Ann Phillips (Deane); son, Danny Jordan; sisters, Dorothy Swindle and Carolyn Kelly; brothers, William Winters; (4) grandchildren; (11) great-grandchildren (1) great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
