Deputies arrest Union man for drug possession
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Union man on drug charges after they said they spotted him driving recklessly last week.
William Shannon Sciple, 35, of 3775 Stratton Road, Union was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of paraphernalia.
Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark said that deputies made the arrest after they encountered a reckless driver on Feb. 3, in the afternoon.
Clark said that deputies heard spinning tires before they saw Sciple, who was driving a black Chevrolet Impala.
He was stopped on County Road 248 for reckless driving. Sciple was found to possess a controlled substance.
Sciple is being held in the Neshoba County Detention Center on a $16,600 bond.
