Deputies arrest man for drugs, gun
Neshoba County Sheriff’s deputies have charged a Philadelphia man with multiple felonies after a traffic stop Tuesday on MS Highway 15.
David Monroe Price, 77, of 10141 RD 373, was charged with four counts of possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and was also served two warrants for sale of a controlled substance.
According to Sheriff Eric Clark, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a red Chevrolet truck on MS Highway 15, driven by Price. The traffic stop led to a search of the vehicle and Price’s residence. As a result of the investigation, law enforcement officers discovered multiple schedule two narcotics- opiates and a firearm at the residence.
Price was transported to the Neshoba County Jail and their bond has been set at $140,000.
