He enjoyed being with his family and together they travelled all across America to see the popular sights. He loved to hunt and fish and introduced his children to these sports at an early age so that they could learn to enjoy the out-of-doors. He was a loving husband and father and, as his extended family grew, also a grandfather and great-grandfather that was completely devoted to his family. Curtis was a member of Soul Harbor Pentecostal Church in Shuqualak, MS and was also a Mason at the Summerville, MS Lodge #64. Curtis was a quiet person, but his opinions and view-points were respected by everyone.
