Couple in fatal wreck had just married

Two Decatur residents who died in a head-on collision near Linwood last week had just been married in June.
Oree Carmichael Mulford and Christopher Steven Mulford, both 21, died in the Aug. 16 crash.
Oree Mulford was driving a 2011 Jeep Laredo north on Mississippi 15 and Howard Westberry II, 22, of Conehatta was driving a 2005 GMC southbound, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Both vehicles made contact causing the Jeep Laredo to run off the roadway to the east side of the highway and the GMC to the west side of Mississippi 15, MHP said.
