Despite the Covid-19 pandemic the Neshoba County Soil & Water Conservation District found a way to host their 25th Annual Conservation Carnival virtually last month. 

Just over 200 fifth grade students from Neshoba Central Elementary School took part in this year’s 4-day carnival. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality’s Jennifer Milner and Lynn Bradshaw presented on Proper disposal, recycling and composting. 

Chaz Ingram presented on Soils. MSU’s Mississippi Bug Blues Museum’s Beverly Keasler presented on Bugs. Mississippi Forestry Department’s Orlando Ellerby and Kevin Craft presented on Forestry.
