Claude Yates Tubby

Funeral service for Mr. Claude Yates Tubby will be held at 10 AM Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Pearl River Facility Building with interment in Pearl River Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 PM Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Pearl River Facility building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Tubby, 86, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Choctaw Health Center in Choctaw, MS. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, watching ballgames on tv, especially the Atlanta Braves and watching wrestling.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Tubby; parents, Charley Tubby and Betsy Scott; sisters, Katie Mae Tubby, Alice John, Coleen Tubby, twins-Jean and Jane Tubby, Mary Marie Tubby; brothers, JC Tubby, Jack Tubby, Leon Tubby.

Survivors include 2 sons, sister, Bessie T. Wilson: brother, Edward Tubby, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Mack Jimmie III, Chad Jimmie, Clay Jimmie, Rusty Jim, Jonathan Joe, Marcus Tubby, Sr., Frank Tubby, Jr., Marcell Tubby, Jr., Marcell Tubby, Sr.
